Oh, on the contrary. If we sweep, we won't hear the end of it throughout the summer and most of next year.

Which fanbase's whining do you enjoy?

Overall, their posters seem less whiny than I have seen on our board in the past. They have their whiners like everyone else.

The thread on the main board about Price is ridiculous. It has simmered down but it was 2 parts of mostly whining and wishing injury on Kreider (the mods have been doing a good job cleaning it up though). People actually thinking he jumped into price, risking injury himself to take him out of the series... I get that the fans are frustrated, and this board would have a meltdown if Hank was in that scenario, but they need to quit it.

The first thread on it was quickly closed because it was unanimous that it was NOT intentional. It is revealed Price is injured and suddenly everyone changes their mind.

Go back and read our stuff after Fleury's second shutout, not to mention the incessant whining about the schedule. Good thing that the players are much tougher than the fans.

Thought the schedule was always a bad excuse for the poor play early on.

And agree on the bolded. Montreal came out on fire, they just couldn't get it past Lundqvist. Mentally, I think they are still very much in this series.

Agreed about the USA chants. Can we get a "SWE-DEN" -clap clap- everytime Hank stones someone?

With last change, I can't imagine losing this game. It feels like we're due for one since i've never seen such a dominant stretch of Rangers play in the PO's in my life as a fan, but to have the chance to go up 3-0 in the ECF at home? I'd be really disappointed if they **** the bed.

Hagelin-Lindberg-Fasth

Andersson-Stralman

Lundqvist

Great line-up! Siddi will love it.

Just an opinion but the collision that injured Price pushed the envelope for lots and lots of Canadiens posters at HF. If Price were still around and the series was still 2-0 for us--there probably wouldn't be anywhere near the same idiocy. The idea that Kreider intentionally injured Price is ludicrous. The idea that he was reckless maybe a little less than ludicrous but Montreal fans certainly wouldn't be happy with one of their own players who didn't go all out to try and score a goal if given the same chance as Kreider had--had it happened either before or after the incident. Almost without exception people aren't devoid of small hypocrisies--some attempt should be made to control it.

Anyway we'll have the last change and the match ups and AV has been doing a better job at that than Therrien. Emelin and Markov should see a lot of Stepan, Nash and Kreider. Rangers need a better start and they need to attack the Montreal net harder. Stay out of the penalty box and be smart defensively and we should win.
