Still missing the “Band of brothers” element, not going to win any wars without it........

well from the division and the way playoffs are strcutured; the only pain in the ass team might be calgary and to certain extent montreal and ottawa

canucks, oilers, jets relatively speaking play cleaner but to be seen of course; most of the canadian teams are kind of young with hardly any seasoned experience so if Leafs some how make to to conference finals; it is then that it will be tested big time

Jets can play a hard game imo

He doesn't have to fight bro. Ofcourse. But stand up for yourself. Put him in headlock or light stick work, or face wash.
You mean like he did against Chiarot in game 1? Or last night in the final seconds?

Defend your superstar. It's that simple. Matthews is not going to initiate a scrum with a light heavyweight enforcer with 20+ fights on his record. That's what Watson is waiting for and exactly how you get your face filled in.

The Leafs are allergic to those kinds of players. Kadri, Clifford... now Simmonds will be toast too if he keeps heeding the call to battle.

Weird that the Leafs brought in Clifford and Simmonds even though they are allergic to that sort of player. I'm sure you know what you're talking about though

Not sure if a GDT is the place for this, but since it came up @Man Bear Pig @DarkKnight
Rule 57.1
[TBODY] [/TBODY]
If, in the opinion of the Referee, a player makes contact with the puck first and subsequently trips the opponent in so doing, no penalty shot will be awarded, but a minor penalty for tripping shall be assessed.
Weird. My understanding of the rule was as long as you get the puck first, you're not getting called, as theres no intent.

If only Auston had the edge that Alex Ovechkin has, to go with the size and elite goal scoring ability.

Notice how they don't run Alex? That crazy Russian will fill you in quickly. Svechnikov found that out the hard way last year.

Im sorry but no player should be running our besr player from behind. Every single player on the ice should be going after that guy. Like jeez man.

Exactly like he did against Chiarot. That's what I'm saying. But very rare. Over his career he might've done that 3 times max
