Clear the puck. Dadanov's stick hit his stick and that changed the directions and elevation

His stick hit after the puck was in the air. That puck would have stopped at the Ottawa blue line.

It always concerns me when a great playmaker talks about wanting to shoot and score more especially when they don't have a great shot. If you're passing up open looks from dangerous spots to try and force a pass then obviously that's not good, but now it seems like he's forcing shots from areas where he'd usually find a better way to create a chance. Stick to your strengths.
