Unlike the fan fiction of Leaf domination yesterday I actually think they played quite well there and are a little unlucky to be tied. Still against a team as bad as Ottawa they can't leave it close enough for luck to be a factor.

A Matthews goal would be nice.

99% Marner but Joe the Trailer did his job.

Yeah, beauty play by Marner for sure. But I did like Joe selling the pass and then finishing well.

Overall, I still think he should be in the bottom 6, but that was a nice moment.

Would be interesting to see Mikheyev play with a shorter stick. Would hurt his defense maybe but he also might be able to his the net and get more shots off.

It'll be interesting to see how long he can keep it up. If he truly has arrived then that's a nice addition for Sens. Matthews has never seen him so it'll take some time to adjust tendencies.

Marner's play was the best news of that period. These lines are still ridiculous, Hyman is being wasted in that spot, Mikheyev is adding nothing.
