NEWS

- Kasimir Kaskisuo will get his first start with the Rocket.

It's Joel Bouchard's first return to Place Bell. So far this year, Laval has played Syracuse there. This will be their first visit to Laval. I imagine he will get a nice ovation when they will honor him.

Last night went as expected, Laval outplays Belleville to start the game, but it's Belleville who finds the back of the net. Missed opportunity for Laval to inch closer in the standings, but alas, it's the opposite that happened. Despite the loss, Laval is still having more success lately. And tonight and tomorrow, they have another two opportunities to get back into the playoff conversation. Not to mention, both games this weekend are sold out, so Laval will have 10K strong backing them.

They have 44 games left to play this year, so they have a lot of time to get back in the hunt. But they can't waste opportunities because before you know it, it'll be too little too late.

Andersson won't play tonight. He will tomorrow. Seeing as he's just coming back from injury, they don't want him playing a 3-in-3.

What is this load management BS. If he is healthy to play he should be playing all 3 games. Don't like this NBA style management.
Control his TOI sure... but sitting him down? Bad.

No. It's the right thing to do. He missed over a month to injury. And it was an old injury that flared up again. I'd rather they exercise caution in a 3-in-3. If it was just a back-to-back, I can understand your point of view. But this is a 3-in-3, so they need to be more cautious. Especially since tonight and tomorrow, it's two games in less than 24 hours.

I don’t follow Laval close enough to be hopping mad but why not put the two 100 point junior players together and let them work some magic together?

I guess Anderson would be where Bourque is and the lines would better

It's not as simple as putting them together that they'd automatically produce together. Not that they wouldn't try it at some point. What I do think is that Roy and Bourque should be swapped. But yes, if Andersson was there, he'd be in the Top-6 instead of Bourque.

But this could be a case of JF Houle trying to get Roy away from some of the tougher defensive match ups in an attempt to get him going again. But that's just a guess.

Houle is just trying to find something that works, desperation has set in.

Haven't seen Xhekaj play since he went down. Watching this on theahl.tv (free game!), he's just as bad defensively as he was in the NHL this year.

Seems like last year's success went to his head, he needs to settle down

Maybe you should watch more than half a period to assess...he has been pretty good...this is coming from someone who has watched everyone of his games.

I would love to attend a game at that venue!
Maybe someday. Enjoy!

Thanks! It's really nice, I live about 25 minutes away, been about 10 times since they moved there. Beautiful venue, easily accessible, cheap prices vs the NHL. Makes for nice, cheaper family outings
