Reads the AVS board, they are saying the team didn't play well or play hard.
What else are the AVS fans going to say after getting beat in their own barn by a team below them in the standings? Much like you always squawking about team D after every loss.;) Do you or the AVS fans know how well the Coyotes/Utah have played against them in the past? In todays NHL any team can beat another team given the parity in the league.

In his defense, team D is what's responsible for the teams progression and any success that may come in the future. I've said it many times before..... harder to produce offensively when being responsible defensively. They appear to be figuring out how to get both accomplished. Good on them and Bear for moving forward, hoping that the progression continues.
Defense wins championships, I think most know this, but team D isn't the only reason a team wins or loses. You can't always blame the team D after every loss, or say team D is the reason the team won after every win. It's not as cut and dried as that. I'm also hoping the progression of the last ten games continues.

But it really is that cut and dry. If a team executes on D consistently, rarely will the fans of said team be discussing losses.
It’s just that it’s painful and not as much fun as scoring. In addition, the entire team needs to be committed and thus be capable of trusting the support of their mates. All this against NHL’rs by guys who’ve most all been prolific goal scorers at lesser levels, who are young and must adapt…. agin, consistently. The latter being a huge reason they need a lot of skill, it’s a possession game and controlling the puck cures a lot of ill’s.
I kinda circled back there eh?

I never said team D is the only reason the team wins or loses.

Your last sentence hit the nail on the head. Edmonton is a prime example.

I never said team D is the only reason the team wins or loses.
Well, that's the only thing you mention in all your posts.;)
