All that work from Laf so he can...softly dump it in

1v3 at the end of a shift while a change is happening. If he tries to stick handle and turns it over we're in all sorts and he's riding pine for a while.

Hajek is just so damn bad. I know he’s a 3rd pair guy and he plays 10 mins a night but with his bad he is in that time it puts the team on their heels and murders any kind of consistency. He makes so many unforced errors, plays where it’s an easy play and he not only turns it over but then the whole shift becomes a fire drill.

I still remember after the trade his junior coach gave an interview where he was just gushing about Hajek being not only NHL ready but would be in the Ryan McDonagh mold. I think there’s an argument that Ryan McDonagh would’ve been better in the NHL at 15 than Hajek is now.
