Excited to see Heineman with the big club, although I assume he won't be playing tonight?

Heineman is incredibly strong on his skates and on occasional lays out some impressive hits.
The issue with Emil has always been his inability to stay healthy.

I am also not sure if he has the hockey sense for NHL speed. Time will tell.

Yeah he just basically wrote an article that said alot of nothing.
I agree that Nick and Caufield not being injured should be much better but when your core of surrounding vets bring nothing to the equation it becomes easier for opposing teams to shut down these guys.
Also, as a lifelong Habs fan it is becoming more and more difficult to watch this team, it just isn't fun.

What a Pejorative Slured dude who dont understand what a rebuild is. He cant either understand they are teaching the players new stuff and a system. A player wont change bad habits in 3 weeks it takes time.

Logically we still have at least 3 years of rebuilding. So yall MT out there need to learn the definition of patience. We arent here to patch things up.

Il ne faut pas oublier que le CH n’est pas une équipe comme les autres en raison de son passé glorieux et de l’amour inconditionnel des amateurs.

I’m a sucker for novelty… Hoping for further call ups and Slaf Gordie Howe Hat Tricks. Fell asleep with a forced smile last game though must of looked pretty creepy.

What *stuff* and which system exactly?

Man to man in the d zone is one of the worst tactic almost no teams use and the offense is dryer than Gordie.

Same here, never felt this discouraged about the team before. Our pp sucks, pk sucks, scorers not scoring, the D is in shambles, too much dead weight. The only bright spots are Slaf's improvement of late and Struble's impressive transition to the NHL.

It’s boring because our forwards don’t score much. 52 goals this season, worst in the NHL. Watching games not involving the Habs, I find the ease with which they score goals disconcerting.
Like I said a few weeks ago, watching other games highlights is quite depressing in a way. On 99% of the goals I say to myself "no way we score that one".

If my French still works this quote says:

We mustn't forget that the Habs aren't like the other teams because of past triumphs and the unconditional love of the fans.

Not entirely sure what "amateur" means in this sense, though could be wrong.

Not going to lie it's kind of annoying that media outlets put importance of what past personal have to say about current teams.

Beliveau, Lafleur, etc are fine as they were loved. BGL, Therrien and other meh players, coaches and whatnot don't matter.

It's common at this point of a rebuilding phase to be in the 'everything sucks phase'

Your best young players are struggling with confidence, your vets are insecure/injured/underperforming, your coach looks like an overwhelmed camp counsillor, the media is bored ...

Not only MT needs to learn what patience is, there's few guys here who need that, lol.
