unfortunately there's not much drury can do. i don't think there are trades available at this point without getting back cents on the dollar for a kreider. lindgren should be getting waived but i do worry about the message.

what are you gonna do - get draft picks for kakko and smith? that's like a 2nd and a 4th. are you trying to win the lottery? using cap space to absorb bad contracts in exchange for a spare change asset?


like if the best plan is "trade kreider so mika can be convinced to waive his clause," you have massive problems.
