It would help if the entire team skated and played with speed. Look at the Avs they have players flying in the neutral zone and move the puck swiftly in their d zone. This concept is far too advanced for the Rangers.

Even if they wanted to play fast, they don't have the personnel to do so. It's unfortunate, but I'm not convinced that they would even be able to adapt to a new system predicated on speed, puck movement, puck possession. Who on this team actually can play that way successfully?

I swear every pass is received while gliding... And it just exacerbates their slowness.

They can at least play faster than they are doing now and have been this season. They look like sleep walkers out there. They can improve their system and transition and go from there.
