Anyone who watches a lot of out of town games know what the deal has been this season with all the faceoff throw-outs on both sides? Is it some sort of league-wide campaign or something NYR are doing?

I think the linesman were told to make sure there's no cheating. Throw out offenders. It's pretty obvious that they are handling things differently. And it's very frustrating. Even Sam got annoyed, "just drop the puck already"

I've read recently on nhl.com there was a GM meeting or something and the question was raised about what the rules of the game are for the players to get thrown out from the face off.

It was too late to post in yesterday's thread, but had to say that in my opinion Leo Carlsson was the best player on the ice and at 18, his future is ridiculously good.
