The Kings are 1-11-1 in their last 13 trips to Buffalo, dating back to 1993-94. Palffy and Smolinski scored twice in that win, on 2/21/03.

I saw that and had mentioned the no win in 12 years but this is even worse. We're not due we're way overdue to get a win here. I suspect about half this board wasn't even born yet.

I expect an uninspired-looking loss with goals by Moulson and Deslaurier, followed by a PGT full of "well if we can't get up for the bad teams..." etc., the whole east coast going 'lol see Pacific is terrible,' at least one new main board thread, and a bump of the "there's not enough hype about the Kings" thread.

You are really underestimating the uninspired-lookingness the Sabres have showed recently. Moulson is playing with Eichel and Kane tonight so I wouldn't be surprised if he scored.

Buffalo looks a lot better this year from the little bit I've seen of 'em. Ristolainen is coming off a hat-trick vs the Flames. Don't see that much from defensemen these days. 21 points from the blueline so far this year, but seems really well rounded, can do it all etc.

Yeah, I mean, the roster actually looks good and deep, just young and putting it together. They're losing because they have to mature as a group, not because they suck or are low-talent. I'm hoping that's where our size and experience comes in, but if we're tired/playing lazy, we just look like loafs.

And we are all very aware how good a coach Murry is for young players and to instill that D is important.

Buffalo sings the Canadian and American anthems at every game regardless of teams. They are the only team to do so. A lot of their fans are from north of the border.
