Still hope the team trades Barrie for what he makes. Cap allocation is not good. We will be better for it.

I really disagree. I know we have Bouchard on the right but Barrie is very different, and underrated for his defense. Barrie is good D depth and we dont have much to replace him with. The place to save cash is on underperforming wingers, as we start moving up Holloway, Bourgault, and heck even Klim

But if we add a D, possibly it could include Barrie. That's different though. Of course he isn't untouchable

I will say this is much closer to the way they played last year down the stretch. Good signs?

Oilers always need a lot of runway to hit their peak form. Usually it’s the last quarter of the season when it comes together. So if we can get there before the half way mark, very good signs.

Bouchard has a great shot and his passing skills are great but Barrie is a much better playmaker
