Toffoli's shot was the highlight for me. No rush took all the time he needed, aimed, fired and net. That is a goalscorer's coolness.

Muzzin! Wow! This guy is a Workhorse! He sure reminds me a lot of Nicklas Lidstrom! He's incredible on the blue line during powerplay's and never rushes the puck! Also keeps his shot's low, Goaltender's today in the NHL are to good up high.......Keep it up! Awesome Win Boys! Onto the next Game!

I feel some of you are too hard on Moriarty. I mean if you have to skew what he says in his interviews to get a rise that's bad form. He's a little wierd, but 2 out of 3 times when you guys post what he says it's warped and skewed to make him sound like an idiot or creepy. We're all watching the same broadcast fellas.

I usually agree with you man, but Moriarty is a baffoon. It's frustrating to watch FSN roll out one broadcasting hack after another. There are people lined up around the block for this kind of gig and we get stuck with Moriarty? I know there are people who know hockey and have a halfway normal personality that can ask these players some decent questions without pandering to the crowd or anyone else. I really don't think it's too much to ask.

His questions are obviously scripted. The problem we all have is that he asks a question like he's performing a high school presentation of "Othello"

He is in the limelight, he put himself out there, he is fair game.

He's really over focused on trying to get the Staples Crowd behind him. It's pretty obvious he was trying to get him to compliment the crowd and he missed his cue/lead/sign

I feel like in general interviews are pretty dull.

"How did you feel when you scored that goal?"
"What do you think you need to do better in the second period?"
"How do you feel about your linemates?"

Seriously, does anyone not know how these questions will be answered? Do we really need to be reaffirmed that the goal made him feel good or that they need to play more sound defense?

I just want to ask them stupid questions that have nothing to do with anything. Just go up to Kopi and ask 'What's your favorite type of cake?' or 'If you could be any animal, what would you be?' Stupid but at least it would be more interesting than the stuff they always ask. No wonder they always look so bored. It's why I like Cabbie's interviews and the scoreboard features.

He basically asked somebody in the locker room the same question that he asked Kopitar about Taffoli scoring his first goal except this time he kept asking how the person felt inside. lolololololol

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't continually hire these yammering idiots from outside of the world of hockey to step in and do hockey interviews. Now we have abracadaniel a guy who is clearly trying to build some sort of career for himself with his idiotic buffoonery. Which is fine under different circumstances but with him its pure refuse.

Patrick the used car salesman O. Heidi pretty but zero hockey i.q. going in A. The list goes way back. We have great hockey guys in LA that work for the Kings who would be great in front of the camera doing that job but we still go to the gong show reject talent agency for the job.


Wow, reading this post makes it sound like I actually care. Not really but DanM is the worst so far. I was kind of hoping that after winning the cup that we would get a real hockey person for that job and start having a more pro hockey team approach to our media. Maybe its better this way.
