I would have done that. Dobby against the better team and Rask against the weakest. The chances of getting at least 2pts out of 4 would have been better that way.

Bruins got 1pt because of their great come back against the Caps and Dobby crapped the bed again against the Avs...

Loser mentality.

I'm not so sure. I really do think there are some here who take some type of delight in the losses as long as their analysis can be held up as the reason. In a strange way, they seem to receive more joy posting how Claude/the system/etc. is to blame for the loss, than the joy they get from a win. You only need to observe the disparate number of posts in the PGT after a loss vs. after a win to see that loud and clear. Posters who have nothing to say after a win will post and post till the early hours about their own pet theories as to why they lost. It's all "See, I was right!" instead of "Wow, what a great game!", and that is not only sad, it's rather pathetic, and not what I personally would call a fan of a team. They are actually a fan of being right, which requires the team to lose, a logical fallacy which precludes them being "both".

I really do believe you are correct.

OMG this post is too long, didnt read it but I will just respond anyway (see I can do those posts too)

Dont act like you arent sitting in this thread doing the same exact thing pushing your own agenda and why you are right.

Vet. posters do it, pro Clode crowd does it, anti clode crowd does it, Mods do it, I do it.

I've been posting/reading HF since 2003-04, have had 3 accounts, back in the Mark Mowers/Tenkrat is a GOD days. All of this is nothing new.

The pro Clode crowd and anti-Clode crowd exchange snarky one liners.

When someone tries to post reasonable criticisms of Clode it is met with "typical Clode hater" kinda responses by some posters.
Both sides doing the same thing but ok you and YOUR agenda is right.

I personally dont want the bruins to lose, I love Clode and want him to do good and I want to win the CUP with Clode as coach again.

Quite a few "Clode Haters" in this thread have expressed similar points but it's easier to ignore it all because it doesnt fit the agenda that blind Clode haters will always hate him no matter what he does and just wants bruins to lose so they can be right"

Again...been reading these forums for a LONG time and I fully believe those posters are out there. I'm not one of them but rather than try and engage in a discussion, it's easier to just label it as Clode hate, dont read it and it fits your agenda perfectly. Cause that is TOTALLY more constructive hockey discussion than "Clode sux fire him now" posts.

Here I am still posting in this damn thread trying to prove my own agenda hahah I love Clode, hope he makes adjustments that will make the Bruins win..and we win the Stanley cup.

My dream is to see Hayes lift the cup over his head. :naughty:

When we win there's usually not a lot to be said, we're happy, that's a given as a fan of the team. I can't speak for others but posting or venting after a loss is my way to blow off steam.

I played competitive sports up through my college years and was always a "good sport" while participating. For some reason I've never been a good sport watching my favorite teams , I get much more angry and frustrated then I would when I played , for me I think its the lack of control of the situation. When I or my teammates played badly we had a way to rectify the situation and get better. When your watching as a fan you've ceded all control to the players and CS. For me Julien while a really good coach , represents someone who's views on hockey differ from mine more often than not , and he tends to be where I focus most of my ire and dissatisfaction - rightly of wrongly.

Message boards are a melting pot of people with all types of agenda. There are the chit stirrers , there are the know it alls, the complainers and on and on and on. When conflicting with other posters I often try to look at their side of things to see where their coming from , I won't just bash them simply because I don't agree with them , but there are times we all cross that line .

Excellent post and you did not convey that you are better then others or point fingers. I feel the same exact way about things. Just because I do not like the current sytem and blindly follow whatever Jack and Brick says I have to be silent and let the excuses become fact. Three years of failure is more then enough to sit and watch without venting

If there are, they are few and far between.

I will admit, I came here often during the good years (pre-2014-15) but rarely posted.

My forum usage has definitely increased during the last 2 1/4 seasons, just after the Boychuk trade and the "greatness" of the Paille-Campbell-Gagne line.

Some folks here jump down your throat when you say anything about Julien, the goaltenders, McQuaid, Krejci, and a number of other players after a loss, I can only imagine the ridicule you'd get if you criticized a win.

Jesus Christ, Wack. Do you know what word "some" means. It's the opposite of all.

Good job reading any of my post but ok..I completely agreed with you, some of them do that..most here have explained that they aren't like that..but ok..no point in discussing if you don't even read it.

I'll tell you what you wanna hear, you are right. I'll just play along with the snarky one liners rather than try to have reasonable hockey discussions.
