It's not a sin. It's just an indication that he's not a shiny new toy anymore.

Every single coach is proclaimed an idiot by this message board eventually. It's as certain as death and taxes.
Just as every star and prospect inevitably becomes a talentless and heartless bum, no matter what they've accomplished - or what they've yet to accomplish.

See Suban, Pacioretty, Gallagher, Galchenyuk, Drouin, Kotkaniemi. Mccarron (future "Lucic-crusher"), etc.

Danault is 29 years old.

People cry he doesn’t shoot enough then he starts shooting more and then people craps on him when he does shoot.
Don't see why age is relevant here. Both are not good goalscorers. People are crying about his poor goalscoring abilities and that has yet to change. He's got 4 playing with those two.

Easier said than done. More cases of "well he can improve, he's got so many qualified people to teach him!" rather than actual improvement. Wrist injuries don't help.
I'd rather see him become a great net front/below the goal line presence cause when all is said and done, dude won't have many chances to shoot on the powerplay. As for 5 on 5, getting to the right areas requires IQ and if he's has great goal scorers as linemates he can become the quintessential playmaker and if that allows players to give him more space, he can always drive the net. Dude has good hands

Doesn't strike me as the type to drive. Again, a Voracek-like production is possible but I'm not counting on it.
