The players actually intended to hit Slaf. Suzuki‘s intention was somewhere between not noticing Kadri and getting out of the way. “Very lucky Suzuki didn’t get a 5 and a game…”Youngsters have been taking high hits all yr
Slaf has had about 4, Guhle has taken a few
Wish MTL took Reaves just for this type of crap
I mean that's your opinion. My opinion is that at 25, Habs might get a bargain for a player would can at that point maybe consistently put up 70ish pt seasonsI don't think he's gonna get another contract from us.
Is this a sin to say that MSL may be overrated as a coach ?
The use of Hoffman at the point ultimately caused CC a concussion. It's not like it's the first time he causes a turnover at the blue line. Eventually you have to f***ing get it.
Armia on the 5 on 3 instead of Slaf or even Anderson is just moronic.
I don't really mind him, but I'm hoping we get some better players than him up front. PLD and one of Bedard/Fantilli/Carlsson/Michkov hopefully. Then you got Slaf and surely one of our current forward prospects or FLA's 1st can fill out that other top 6 spot. Dream is to trade Dach for a good top 4 RHD.100% a product of Suzuki and CC imo.
Yeah. Anderson, Hoffman, Pitlick were all product of CC and Suzuki also. Crazy they absolutely made them good players since it works like that apparently.Cool. Good for you. Enjoy. No need to respond with meaningless answers like this.
It was reported a few weeks ago that Marty had taken over the PP duties.Don't you know his answer? Slaf has to learn to play...THE...game.
MSL is actually seeing the forest for the trees. He's allowing Burrows to run the PP into the ground so Habs can tank and get more talent to work with when they're actually competitiveIs this a sin to say that MSL may be overrated as a coach ?

I have a hard time seeing him put up 70 points. Every page on every thread was people crapping on Danault's goalscoring ability, but Dach has been worse so far and I doubt he will ever top Danault's 27 goals. 10-15 is the expected outcome unless something drastically changes for him (shoots more and learns how to shoot better). That being said his playmaking and skillset may allow him to have Voracek like production but I'm not counting on it.I mean that's your opinion. In what way was that a major penalty??The players actually intended to hit Slaf. Suzuki‘s intention was somewhere between not noticing Kadri and getting out of the way. “Very lucky Suzuki didn’t get a 5 and a game…”
Well CC/Suzuki were still lighting it up with those guys in the 2nd half, most notably Anderson.Yeah. Anderson, Hoffman, Pitlick were all product of CC and Suzuki also. Crazy they absolutely made them good players since it works like that apparently.
…not
They made Anderson look like a top 6 F which is a miracle in itself. Dach is certainly better than all those players but that isn't saying much....Yeah. Anderson, Hoffman, Pitlick were all product of CC and Suzuki also. Crazy they absolutely made them good players since it works like that apparently.

I kinda thought that before it started. I mean Markstrom gifted us the win in Calgary so you just knew he would want to stone us here.Habs don't appear to have one goal in them tonight...hope I am wrong
CC is usually pretty good at avoiding hits. This situation still would have been avoided if Hoffman did not turn the puck over once again at the blue line on the pp.Ah, CC not keeping his head up maybe. If you are small you better be aware, mostly he is, but this one time.....
He paid.
OMG Kadri’s back! How does he do it?In what way was that a major penalty??
I saw Caufield working with Dach on his shooting in plain clothes before the game. No better person to learn from. He can potentially become a competent shooter with the right amount of reps. Even if he doesn't, he'll be playing with great shooters his entire contract so it's not the end of the world if he's not elite at itI have a hard time seeing him put up 70 points.
