strong period for the sharks. Game is pretty much even. Maybe a slight edge to the caps, but not much.

the sharks are working hard, they have good gaps, and are forcing turnovers. Just not quite enough finishing skill right now, and they need more threats from the blueline to score. Nevertheless, yet another tied in the 3rd period game.

I don't see a bottom 3 team in this game right now...

I cannot stand Alan Hoshida. Ted Ramey is actually okay and sounds like a legit Bay Area sports fan.
Hoshida is apparently a long-time Sharks fan, so I don't think that's the issue. It's just that he comes across as incredibly unpolished/nervous, constantly making word/sentence gaffes. Maybe just too big of a step-up for him. Some broadcasters are just meant to work in front of a teleprompter, I guess.

I don't like Ramey as the "analyst" on the broadcast, but that's not his fault; he does the best he can (even if he often sounds like a canned radio/commercial voice). I don't know why they didn't just make him the host instead of Hoshida. It's such a difference when you have someone like Mark Smith as the analyst, where he can actually break down plays and videos and as viewers we can actually learn something or see something we hadn't noticed before.

Our 2nd PP unit has some real talent but looks like they're really lacking in reps and cohesion.

I have to admit, I get really nervous anytime I see Rutta or Ferraro get as far down as the opposing team's dots. Ceci, too, to some extent.
