On another note, it's nice that
the PowerPlay is finally clicking.

I want to see him earn that chance. No thanks to a lot of players. Who cares.
We won a hard fought game. I want to see him on a consistent line for a few games.
Missed you my friend. Welcome back!Hahahahahahahaha
What a win guys, way to grind
Quietly a super solid game for him.JVR with a goal and he clearly saved a goal against.
That rebound off Ullmark's toe that was missed. JVR came barreling in and knocked the dude on his ass and out of the play.
How can we see what he can do if he's constantly getting shuffled? I want to see him play on a line, get comfortable and see what happensI want to see him earn that chance.
For a guy whose problem has always been between the ears, it's shocking to me that a contract year isn't enough to motivate him to have a career season. Not sure how he expected to get paid. It's time to let him sit a game.
.... and the horse they rode in on too!My brother Greg loved to bitch about NHL officiating. Of course, he was convinced that the referees and the league were, as it were, in league against the Detroit Red Wings.
Every fan base believes it is being screwed by the refs and by the league. Let's just take that as a given.
I used to dismiss my brother's complaints, but in the past 15 years I would say the past 5 years, it's clear to me that the officiating in the NHL is very poor overall.
...
From what I've been able to gather, which isn't much, for some reason there was a shortage of experience NHL ready referees perhaps 10 years ago. So they started rushing in younger referees who were of course less experienced and perhaps lacked judgment.
My understanding is that is why, more than anything else, the officiating is as poor as it is. But just remember, it's poor for everyone, not just the Boston Bruins.
To be clear I hate the league office, I hate the office of player discipline, or whatever the f*** it's called, and I f****** hate Gary Batman. And the f****** owners.
As mostly previously, f*** that, and f*** them, and f*** the f****** horse they f****** wrote in on
All of the players are getting moved around. How can we see what he can do if he's constantly getting shuffled? I want to see him play on a line, get comfortable and see what happens

Don't give the NHLOL any ideas please! That shot that Pasta took in shootout should be illegal. Simply not fair.
Other than not scoring goals, he's been very good in every other aspect. So, let's see what he can do on a consistent line. Monty constantly changing the lines is not doing him and others any favors. Especially with Zacha out.For a guy whose problem has always been between the ears, it's shocking to me that a contract year isn't enough to motivate him to have a career season. Not sure how expected to get paid.
I posted that same sentiment earlier. For a guy whose problem has always been between the ears, it's shocking to me that a contract year isn't enough to motivate him to have a career season. Not sure how expected to get paid.
I know. I think we need to find a combo that fits and play a few games otherwise we won't see what can or could happen. All of the players are getting moved around.
It is the same for everyone not JUST Jake.I know. I think we need to find a combo that fits and play a few games otherwise we won't see what can or could happen.
The constant line shuffle isn't helping. We need to see who he gels with. We know he's good with Marchy. I thought he was good with Zacha, the limited time he played with him.
Someone posted stats in a thread of Jake on different lines and he makes the line better according to those stats, but his time on these lines haven't been consistent enough.
Sure. But I don't think Monty's constant changing of the lines helps. I want consistency for everyone especially now without Zacha. It is the same for everyone not JUST Jake.
Everyone plays well with Brad. He makes players around him better.
Jake needs to get it going.
