I can't imagine paying these prices as a full blown adult at MSG this year. It really is exactly the same as the dark ages. Attempts to play man on man hybrid formations in the NHL fail. This came up in the playoffs last year and even the msg crew was criticizing nyr for its stupidity.

Zone is the answer. Your two defensemen clear the crease to let the goalie see the shot. Center in the middle to block shots. Wingers up and down along the boards to press for turnovers, collapsing as necessary to block shots. You'll tire yourself out much less, not chasing players all around the ice, too.
