I'd argue both are actively negative contributors. Both are prone to overhanding the puck and turning it over.

I just got home too. This game sounds like the hockey equivalent of a baseball game where the other team has left 14 guys on base and you’ve hit two solo homers.

Hurricanes are much worse than last season. Without the outstanding season from Necas they would be totally lost. Both their offense and defense were weakened severely after last season. Now Brind'amour has tried to shuffle the lines but they are lacking in so many ways this season.

Canes have gotten points really well considering how their playing sometimes look like. Changing their lines last week looked awful. They do have a lot of talent though.
