I read somewhere that MacKinnon and Cale Makar are hurt and could be out... even with those 2 potentially out I am still not too optimistic for this series.

Personally I am looking for the Yotes to start to tilt the ice back to even. The recent games with the Avs have been so one-sided its painful. Game plan needs to change and would like to just see a competitive series.

No, but without Mac & Makar we've got a better shot, here's hoping that they play a full 3 periods and I wish someone would let them know it's ok to score in the 1st period.

**and for all that his hockey holy, could we not take a penalty for too many men tonight**

Kadri is capable of taking the coyotes down by himself. Still expecting a loss.

Just hope the coyotes don’t get embarrassed. Not looking forward to a win, but at least look like a decent team

Dvo, Schmaltz and Garland need to score tonight because the secondary scoring wad was blown on Saturday night. Won't see any more of it for another Coyotes fortnight (2 weeks).

Gauthier and Hayden got about five minutes last game, they need to figure out a 4th line that works and consistently pressures the other team. This is something a budget team should be good at.

I thought Hayden and Fischer did a great job of that at times vs Vegas and often vs STL.

I could be wrong but I feel Hayden’s play has become less effective due to his ice time being reduced, rather than his ice time being reduce due to his less effective play. Which sounds nutty, but we’re talking Tocchet, here. Lol.

Just remember, Fort Knight can't possibly hold for 2 weeks.

Yotes can't be spotting this team 2-3 goals in the first. With those 3 out for the Avs I would like to see a point. Maybe take them to OT or a shootout.

Sending Hayton down had the knock on effect of moving Larsson up, which dropped the trust level for the 4th line with guys like Chaput to basically zero. Brassard doesn't want to play center anymore. BA apparently not happy with trade options for a 3C. They put Gauthier in to try and find an answer, he was pretty rough.

Bottom six is usually a strength in years past but this year it's been a struggle.

In all fairness to Gauthier, he had not played a game all year, and then he gets 5 minutes. There is no way any coach or anyone on these boards should criticize Gauthier in that game. Not saying he is the answer, but if you are going to insert him or anyone else into the lineup at least give them a chance to get their legs. Just a typical dumb move by our coaching staff. What else is new.

PP out of sorts, Garland isn't an ideal bumper guy.
