The good thing is that the North Division isn't really tearing it up. Laval is last in their division, but are 5 pts from a playoff spot. If they can beat Belleville today in regulation, they will be 3 pts back.

Although the other teams have anywhere between a game to 5 games in hand on them.

Good news regarding Simoneau. He got hit on the nose and not the eye. So he is out, but the fact it's not the eye is very positive.
