Mo has one glaring weakness... see it almost every game. He cant pass backwards or on the back hand anywhere near the other team.. once he does, it's a turn over. I'm sure I sound like a broken record but teams have to see this and say let's exploite it.

I know this is the wings vs Bruins thread but I just put on the Panthers game and 2 -0 pens on 3 shots lmao man Spencer knight is not looking like the sure #1 goalie he was touted to be

Now lets go wings ! lol

Larkin battles for pucks, forechecks hard, backchecks hard, wins faceoffs, plays good defense, scores goals, makes plays, and is a leader. Clearly the heart and soul of this team, when Larkin is out the whole team is hot stinky dogshit. He is a very complete player and stays around almost exactly one point per game on offensively inept Wings teams. I would wager if you put Larkin on most contenders he averages above one point per game while being strong in all areas. Bona fide 1C, I don't get the high end 2C talk from so many people.

Larkin does do all of those things and is clearly the best center on the team. However, the team going to shit while he’s out is more an indictment of how bad Compher, Copp, and Co. are rather than how good Larkin is.

And I do not believe one bit that putting Larkin on a more talented team results in him producing more points. One, he wouldn’t get as many minutes playing behind a better C. Two, he has all the physical tools but it is his Hockey IQ that holds him back from being a better player, that isn’t going to change on a better team. Three, I’ve seen that argument made for all kinds of good players on bad teams over the years and it rarely turns out to be true once said player is moved to a better team.

Ray keeps his scoring streak alive. Nice to see. But who's fault was it on their goal? Was it a Husso special or Chiapet?
