Which makes odd assumptions and is just kind of like...I don't know, a tough thing to ask a guy that was just moved. And Weekes said something about being a native Michigander and how did Trouba feel about Detroit being interested, would be want to play for his hometown team? And Trouba was like, uh, sure I've thought about it, but...*awkward laugh* someone should maybe verify with Detroit that they were interested, did anyone try that? And Weekes was all quietly like yeah I did. LOL. It was super awkward. Yep. As a husband and father, I totally felt that too, and was like, yep, I get that. I know I don't make $8M, but on principle I get it. As you said though he played himself into the situation.
