Like I said. He has a track record of being elite. Like multiple years of it. His outlier is to be bad. It's not his norm.

Smith it literally the exact opposite. We cheered when val kaminsky scored goals here but he was washed and a bad player. Smith is washed and at this point a bad player. He can have a cookie for finally doing something to help the team but I'm not celebrating him.

Igor is literally the main reason this team is even in a playoff spot (look at the high danger comparisons or virtually any in depth stats on goaltending). These things aren't even comparable. Smith literally got a breakaway for being out of position and slow in the first period and people celebrated him. The comparison is ridiculous.

I'm not comparing.
