Habs beating an expansion bottom feeding team, plan the parade lol

Last time Slaf was put with Suzuki and Caufield I pointed out that it was the most possession time Suzuki and Caufield had 5v5 all year, and maybe ever, on a line together.

Tonight looks the same. Don't want to jynx it but that line just looks like a perfect fit.
Slaf creates space for Suzuki and Caufield. He is doing what Dach did for that line last year. Hopefully Marty leaves that line intact for more than 1 game

Good, because that's a big reason why they drafted him.

Man I feel like I've seen this movie before. Only the actors were different. The goaltender was Carey Price and the outcome was a team unable to provide the three goals needed to ensure a victory. We need more goals boys...

Badly.

Someone is standing on your lawn.
You can use mah shotgun!

You mean the same expansion team that eliminated the defending Cup Champs last season?

If that's the case, are we the team that went to the cup finals a few years ago too?

Play him with good players. Those who clamored early on that he lacked hockey sense need to re evaluate

It is still blatantly obvious but he is doing a better job of keeping it simple. He has entirely screwed up so many 3 on 2's and 2 on l's and just needs to look for his shot. His board work and puck protection are really coming along but he needs to stop forcing passes. Continue winning the board battles and drive the puck to the net for a shot and stop looking for the pass....that needs to be his focus.

I am very encouraged with his progress but his vision and awareness are still very limited.

You mean during Covid when we had a losing record. Do you watch the games? Seattle has a very good roster and were excellent last season.

Always a negative. Is there a perfect player there somewhere?

What does last season have to do with how much they suck this season?

What can I say, I find it funny people were blasting the guys against Detroit, and once they play an awful team they are praising the same guys as leaders and future stars lol.

They are not a lowly expansion team. You made them sound like the 1976 Washington Capitals. In fact they were able to build a very competitive roster quickly.

And Habs have been great lately? Score is 1-0 for Montreal. No guarantees they will win, but enjoy the moment!

Was I blasting anyone? Feel free to check my posts.

So you are not willing to admit they are awful this year? lol, you really have an agenda in propping up an awful team to make this one look better.

There record is misleading. They haven't been good but they are a lowly expansion team imo.
