I think Slaf finally figured out the NHL. Now it's all about watching him progress as he gains experience and physical maturity.

Better 1st than against Detroit. Probably should have gotten more than one goal. Montembeault made some excellent saves too.

1-0 Montreal after 1.

Gonna go shovel of my front porch. If I am not back for the second, alert the authorities.

What happed to the days of Carbonneau and Ludwig blocking everything and never seeming to get hurt?

I frickin love being right!

Shots come off the sticks much, much faster now & almost everyone has a ridiculously hard shot. Players also change the release point making it much more difficult to predict where the puck is actually going.

It's tougher to get in front of shots.

Last time Slaf was put with Suzuki and Caufield I pointed out that it was the most possession time Suzuki and Caufield had 5v5 all year, and maybe ever, on a line together.

Tonight looks the same. Don't want to jynx it but that line just looks like a perfect fit.
