Sutter should send Scuderi to his farm for a day, make him plow the field. Might snap him out of this funk.

Yeah, I've kinda noticed the same thing. I think the heavy minutes are getting to him and I don't see it changing any time soon. The whole Willie Mitchell thing is a bummer to the team, the guy means so much to us.

Lots of passing on the outside. When a team like PHX loves to stand back and block the shooting lanes the whole night, not a bad idea to fire a few on target to make the players thinks twice about blocking a shot. I never want to see anyone get hurt, but we pretty much played into their strategy tonight.

I think Sutter should give up the notion of playing the same goaltender in b2b games! It hasn't worked! It failed spectacularly for Kiprusoff and the Flames just recently.

Kings have given up 23 Goals in the last Seven Games......Ouch.

I think the Kings haven't had a stretch of giving up Goals like that in years.

It's just attention to detail on defense.

I'm sort of glad this happened--learning experience for the team, the young D especially. Phoenix embarrassed us tonight.

Bummer game, but I think we'll learn more from an awful loss than if we would have somehow won that game.

As Sutter likes to put it, save percentage has to be better. Also, if Green and Michell are in the line up, its a different story.

Well, we've been winning 2 of every 3 for the past few weeks. They'll be better next game, not terribly worried, some of our players are going to be slightly inconsistent. Lets give them a nice long sleep to recover and reload.

Looking on the bright side, I think this was the first time the Kings lost where it did not result in them falling 2 or more places in the WC standings.

Onto the next game. The Sharks are in a real funk. The Kings need to take full advantage.

Not really worried about this lost. They obviously came out FLAT and the Coyotes were all over the Kings tonight. But, they tried to mount a little comeback there. Look pretty damn good up until the 5th goal. Bad pinch by Drewiske imo. If your gonna pinch go in hard! Don't let up!

The power play looked really nice on those two goals. The movement has been so much better and more creative of late. Big credit to Voynov and Muzzin. Those two know how to quarterback a power play!

That was Brown not 44DD.

I was more baffled by starting Quick on the back-end of the back-to-back than anything that happened in this game. I thought they'd use Bernier tonight, let Quick rest for a couple days and get him out in San Jose. Now there's gonna be that pressure to use Bernier and let Quick sit longer. I don't know.

Just seems weird.

Like hell that was a bad pinch by DD44. It was the perfect pinch by a defenseman in a 4-2 deficit game when you're trying to come back and have all the momentum. Brown even had himself in position to cover for DD44. Then he inexplicably went into traffic cone impersonation mode. That **** was all on Brown and he knew it.

I HATED that goal. And the one late in the first.

Rob Scuderi with a -3 and on the ice for the Coyotes' power play goal. Mostly flailing wildly with his stick.

..and he managed to do all of that with 12:10 of ice time, least of all King's defensemen.

Sutter doesn't play favorites when it comes to ice time.

Muzzin is goign to find his time cut in one-goal games if he doesn't get his feet moving in the d-zone.

Sutter is not afraid to call out anyone, that is refreshing. Doesn't matter that Scuds is a Vet. Sutter calls it like he sees it.

I had to listen to the Phoenix announcers all night. They just kept talking about Boedker and Klinkhammer, terribly annoying. I understand they played great but they didnt shut up.

I saw flashes of dominance in the 3rd period when we were trailing 4-0, kinda odd & late.
