The Flyers are doing their part to help us with that
This may not be the best draft year for tanking. I get the sense that the front office finds more value in building a winning culture before Dvorsky and Snuggerud likely join next season.Im realistic about it, just would be nice to be picking 7-11 as opposed to 15-16 again. Need elite talent, or atleast a better shot at landing some. Missed the ability to trade up for Dickinson or Buium last year because of 3 extra wins. Dont want a repeat.
Jake Neighbours is best suited on the third line. Change my mind.Tough touch on that pass…
Whatever works.Jake Neighbours is best suited on the third line. Change my mind.
I don’t mind him being the 3rd wheel on a top 6 line to help spread out the offense akin to the rotating cast of guys we put on the ROR/Perron line. Problem is having both Jake and Texier as guys who aren’t drivers on the same line.Jake Neighbours is best suited on the third line. Change my mind.
Some other posters spewed this same rhetoric last year. I dont think losing 3-6 more games over the course of last year woulda changed the culture. And we woulda netted Dickinson or Buium. This team is never gonna bottom out for a top 5 pick (outside of lottery win). But being hopeful for a top 10 pick as opposed to picking 16 for the 2nd straight season is the wagon im hitching to. Keep the games close, but additional losses here or there could make a big impact down the road. This may not be the best draft year for tanking.
