Matthew Joseph was in on a breakaway, but fumbled the puck, and the goalie was able dive on it and then poke it away towards the boards. Then, The Blues came back on a 2 on 1, but the rookie goalie made another great save.

Some other posters spewed this same rhetoric last year. I dont think losing 3-6 more games over the course of last year woulda changed the culture. And we woulda netted Dickinson or Buium. This team is never gonna bottom out for a top 5 pick (outside of lottery win). But being hopeful for a top 10 pick as opposed to picking 16 for the 2nd straight season is the wagon im hitching to. Keep the games close, but additional losses here or there could make a big impact down the road.
I hear what you're saying, and I understand the idea of rooting "against" your own team, but what are you recommending the players and coaches actually do? Not try? Intentionally give up a lead? Keep games close on purpose?
