Kostin does read well off of talented players, he just gets stuck with grinders.
The problem is Kostin's inconsistency. When he's on, he's extremely effective. But he's worse than useless when he's not playing well. Only think that stops me from wanting him to play with Smith, who I think he actually looks quite good with.

Ottawa is not very good....it loos
ks like the Sharks are playing better
They have 6-7 first rounders in their prime. Their coaching and veteran signings have been suspect but they have much more talent than us top to bottom on the ice.

I'm not a Sens roster fan but if you swap divisions they'd probably make the playoffs.

yeah smith needs someone who can give him space. kostin could do it but then he could also just hoff it and get the line into hot water.

yea kostin legit played his way out of the lineup. he's been solid since getting back into the lineup though but he obviously has an extremely short leash and is gonna need to keep earning it.

You have a knack for storytelling, I fully belly-laughed at this.

Thanks.

It was just so random that they show the Lindgren highlight of him backhanding it into the open net and Pounder's like "I'm not going to say too much because I don't want to talk about how I put it in my own net twice in one game. But yeah that's tough." and then moved right on to the next highlights without skipping a beat.

The panel host looked like she really wanted to ask for details but bit her tongue and let it pass probably because it'd be a dick move to press after Cheryl jokingly said that it was a dark time that she doesn't want to revisit.

I need details though because even granting that she was a defender and there's always that chance you do the blind back-pass and handcuff the goalie or don't notice the goalie on walkabout, I can't see doing it twice in a single game.

I said this a couple of games ago but the annoying thing about Kostin is that he does just enough to make you angry that he doesn't try to do more.
