I know it's not really true, but it feels like every single 2 on 1 ends up in our own net and that Mackenzie never makes an impressive save to bail us out
I disagree. I feel like he's better when he's bombarded. Outside of the season opener, his worst games this season have been when he faced 18, 20 and 23 shots.

Look at the quality of shots they are taking, with exception to about 4 of them it looked like a pre game warm up. I’m sure there was a couple times during the Quinn error that did happen
You’re overbaking the outcome of the shots into the quality. Eklund’s chance for example was a great one. Sometimes they just don’t go. And Blackwood usually makes a save on at least one of those. They play every period like that and they win most games.

Sens broadcast on the whole isn't bad. They have Cheryl Pounder doing the intermission analysis. I generally enjoy her any time I'm watching TSN coverage of stuff (like the WJCs).

Though they just showed highlights of the Capitals/Lightning game with the Caps goalie shooting the puck into his own net and she casually threw out there with no further details that she once scored into her own net twice in one game and I feel short-changed that we didn't get to hear anything about that story because... how? It's not as embarrassing as a goalie doing it, but still.

I don't mind them taking a lot of shots, but it's all for not if they're not willing to get greasy in front of the crease.
A lot of standing around while Mack is skating laps in the zone. compare that to the kings game where they were all moving their feet. Getting dirty goals is all good and well but if you get a team chasing you around in the zone you won’t have to rely on it.

You have a knack for storytelling, I fully belly-laughed at this.

I disagree, they aren’t even shooting for rebound chances it’s just get a look whether there’s traffic or not. Eklunds chance was nice.

I thought Blackwood could’ve had both but definitely the second one, he’s playing unusually deep in the crease tonight

I hate that I said it in the LA GDT that what sucks is they're gonna completely forget everything they did in that game.
