Stairway To Heaven
With all the blown leads, missed opportunities, and losses to shit teams, they are still right there with the pack in the east. If Gallant is here to stay this year they don't make the playoffs unfortunately.
There's definetly something wrong with Trouba this year and it affects everything when he has the c on his chest BUT the team has to figure out what to do with Panarin. Not saying he doesn't have crazy talent. He does but he just floats out there way too much.Trouba is a train wreck. He needs to sit until healthy. Bring up Welinski. Miller needs press box time. He looks so lost out there. If the puck isn’t right in his zone of influence he just stands alone 15 feet in front of Shesterkin watching the play. Start Hajek an Jones behind Lindgren on LD. Blais needs 14 days in Hartford.
That was Blais, and we paid a premium for that, but Subban pretty much ended his careerIt’s roster that needs to change. We need a Avery type on this team. Some spark. I hope they trade for a guy like Domi or Barbashev. Some nasty on this team would be nice. Change the culture of this mentally soft group
Just an odd time to bring him up when he played a good game. How about bringing up some of our useless forwards? No but him being a Jag is the biggest reason this team sucks this year.
Step 1: communicate he’s taking a reduced roleThere's definetly something wrong with Trouba this year and it affects everything when he has the c on his chest BUT the team has to figure out what to do with Panarin. They will never hire him because of what happened in Chicago. He's exactly what they need though.Joel Quennville
We had Quinn with most of the team, nothing changed before and same result now.I think you start with a new coach. See if he can right the ship. If certain players are still playing like shit, then trade, buyout, do whatever needs to be done to be rid of them.
If Kak and Laf are still stinking up the joint, get rid of them by the trade deadline.
Trouba, count your losses and just buy him out next season if he doesn't want to be moved.

I'd love Andrew Brunette. He's an Associate Coach on NJD so I doubt he's available. But he lead Panthers to Presidents Trophy and is probably the brains behind the NJD operations atmJoel Quennville
They'll play Carpenter vs his old team.I can’t get over how bad Trouba and Gallant were today.
Watch Kravtsov be out of the lineup tomorrow. now too, lmao
Blais was never that type, just a heavy hitter with no skill. We need someone with emotion and skill. Any Brandon Dubinsky Ryan Callahan types around? That was Blais, and we paid a premium for that, but Subban pretty much ended his career

He had some skill, he scored a beauty in preseason last year and was playing on the Mika line until he got Slewban'dBlais was never that type, just a heavy hitter with no skill. We need someone with emotion and skill. Any Brandon Dubinsky Ryan Callahan types around?
That play in the third where Laf was coming up the right wing with the puck on a semi 2v1 and just flubbed a pass right into the defender is a snapshot of who he is as a player right now. If Vesey does that I'm OK with it but a guy like Laf who lit up his opponents at every level before this? Sorry, only the Rangers could drain talent like that.
We are the hockey equivalent of Shang-Tsung from Mortal Kombat. Young players arrive here full of hope and talent and then we destroy their souls.
Both Chicago and Florida miss him. So when does coaching matter exactly? This team has underperformed. Losing to bad teams, missed opportunities, and blown leads. Tonight was just another example that has been on display all season. Gallant needs to go.Heard the exact same thing a year and a half ago about how Gallant was exactly what they needed. Nobody knows what they need. Most of these coaches are the same guy and their whole reputation is based on if they have a good or bad roster and if their goalie plays well or poorly.
Dubinsky scored at the NHL level, Blais never did. Dubinsky was a much better player and a top 6 forward, something Blais is notDubinsky's a cool comparable for Blais, both were drafted as smaller skill guys and had huge growth spurts right after

This season feels so much like 92-93. It's just one of those years where nothing goes right. Maybe they win the cup next year, lol.I missed most of the game and caught OT. The entire team sucks this season. It's just painful to watch. It's absolutely depressing. I really thought we'd have a special season 4 games in.
