11and 90 should not be in the line up. Unfortunately the pickings are slim for replacements . I suspect 51 will replace one of them in the New Year. Still hoping ,Frederic can turn it around ,but he has to soon
Nice to see the B’s score some goals. Let’s hope it’s a start there.

The thing I find most frustrating about Freddie is he could be such an impactful player. In my dreams her could be a mini Tom Wilson type player. Mark Kastelic could teach him a thing or two about intensity.

Freddie is valued around the league. Could be time?

The clock has been ticking on him here for a while now.
He's not contributing and on the odd occasion that he does,
he doesn't follow it up.
Sweeney needs to end his love affair with his players and realize that Freddy
isn't an asset to the team.
There's no telling where his "engage" switch is.
If I'm DS, I wait until the TDL if possible and get the best offer available.
If not, he's gone for nothing and once on (possibly) the Blues
he'll become the guy that you envision.

Nice sweet win. Somewhat of a surprise since as far back as I can remember, the Bruins always seemed to lose pre-holiday games.
Under "Sacco Magic" they've hit their stride for the most part and pulled together as a team.
Freddy's uniform still doesn't need laundering.
How does he keep slipping under Sweeney's radar?
Coyle is another one who didn't need to take a shower after the game ..again

They should ship these two out of Boston ..if it's not too late to get something back

If we traded Coyle I think it would wake up the rest of the roster. He's the one dragging Freddy down.

I like the 4th line but sick of them being sacred cows that can't be split up. Surprised Sacco is just as stubborn about that.

I think Coyle works really hard.

He's a beast down low, he had a shift in the game tonight where he held the puck for 10 seconds and finished with a spin pass across the top of the crease but the other guys couldn't get their sticks free. He floated a pass across the crease on a 3on2 as well, but Frederic didn't bust for the far post, he just glided in late.

He busts his ass defensively too. I think he leads all NHL centers in takeaways.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!

We've been celebrating the American Thanksgiving the last few years with a roasted turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes, and enjoy the US thanksgiving much more than ours here in Canada, because of the four day weekend ..and all the football games and black Friday

God Bless!!

Of all the games to miss, I had no idea they were playing today. Sounds like they had some fun out there for a change.

3 apples for Lindholm tonight. Slowly but surely he is starting to get going.

I think Zadorov has been really good ever since Sacco took over. They’ve really simplified their defensive system and it has benefitted him.

Best part for me though was seeing the leaders lead tonight.

Keep on building

Maybe Fred is injured or has a massive personal problem, but I am surprised he has not been a healthy scratch by now. Watching a game or two from the press box might wake him up.

Congratulations to @The don godfather for getting his first "book it" right in almost four years! I know I speak on behalf of all HFBruins when I say you really "hit a homerun" with this Bruins guarantee!!
I love his unfailing optimism. Keep it going, Don.

That was a fun game, I never thought I would see 6 Bruins goals in a game any time soon, so that was a nice surprise. One penalty in the game and the timing of it seems a wee bit fishy.

It made me so happy when Zadarov skated out the box and glided down to the Isles net and hit the EN. Thank you hockey gods.

Happy Thanksgiving, my American friends. Hug your loved ones.

Well that was unexpected. Very nice to see Marchand finding the back of the net again, he is starting to look just a little more like his old self. I have been frustrated by Zacha of late but those were some timely goals in the 3rd at a time when the Bruins were right back on their heels and battling heavy legs. Great effort by Pasta too, his best game in quite some time. Defenders making self-inflicted errors was probably the most negative aspect of the game, but the forwards owed them one and came up with the goods here. Korpi was solid when the game was on the line. As a backup he is doing all he needs to so far.

Gee it was nice to have a game almost entirely free of special teams. Good old-fashioned 5-on-5, back and forth hockey. Maybe the two teams playing it weren't exactly the greatest, but they both gave an honest effort. The one penalty that was called was garbage, but I'll forgive it due to the refs otherwise putting the whistles away.

Can't kid ourselves that this team doesn't still need quite a bit of work both in terms of its play and the roster, but they are continuing to trend gradually in the right direction and it's nice that they at least seem to have some sort of identity again and are trying to put the pieces back together. They're in the mix, so that's a start.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, may it be a good and safe one with lots of food and companionship!

Nice to see Marchand play like Marchand. Maybe the team isn’t as bad as we thought?

I’d still try to get Kreider if that rumor is even real. If they could make a deal involving Freddy, I do it at this point. We’ve been teased for years now by his power forward potential. He is not focused or engaged often enough. He’s the one player I didn’t even notice last night.

What are you watching? As bad as Coyle has been, especially the first 10-12 games, he still has been better than Frederic.
