Games like this, make me think the Kings are pretenders. The Pacific is full of trash teams, and the Kings are on their way to a below .500 record playing within the division.

The thing is I don't think so. Lots of grade a chances just bad voodoo. But it's feeling lifeless. Need more jam in the third

You can tell they're just getting more and more frustrated but would like to see that translate to net crashing
 
I know stat fans love the Corsi and I get that. If the Kings throw a hundred shots a night at the net, but only one goes in, they're still gonna lose a lot of games. Guys like Brown, Lewis, Nolan, Shore, the entire bottom six seem incapable of finding the net.
 
Have the Kings generated any second or third chances at all tonight after an initial shot? Seems like the Kings either aren't getting to the loose pucks and are also making it easy for Markstrom with these one and done shots.

This, plus Markstrom hasn't had to move side to side at all.

I am over the entire bottom six, there is just nothing there.

Shore/Andy back to the AHL, Brown(has too, salary)/Lewis stay. Clifford/Nolan gone, start over.

Even though he could never finish, Clifford use to drive the net and generate chances. Now he's the invisible man.
 
ehhh down by 1... Hopefully Sutter kicks someone in the dick back in the locker room and everyone gets going. It only takes 1... Then the Nucks can break their streak and beat us in OT... :(
 
Also, Cliff can stay, send Shore to pressbox, get Nolan the **** out, bring up some Mersch, trade Weal for a new 1C.
