He has some pretty terrible judgment outside of the safety of the pipes. He had a horrible bank pass off the boards that was fortunate not to end up in the back of the net too.

Askarov is an adventure out there. Supremely athletic and massive, but some questionable fundamentals.

On the first goal, he was way off his angle and left way more open net than an NHL goalie typically does.

I notice when Askarov seals a side of the net he WAY seals it off and I guess relies on his athleticism if the puck gets across.
