I did a rough count on my calculator:Is there a way to track Rutas turnover count this year?
I feel like the only thing he's good at is creating a human barrier on the boards so that nobody can play and have funRutta fighting fighting fighting wins the puck!!! immediately gives it away
He certainly commits to every shot like its game 7 OT, doesn’t he?hasek in net here
Nah more like Steve Shields flopping in the creasehasek in net here
He has some pretty terrible judgment outside of the safety of the pipes. He had a horrible bank pass off the boards that was fortunate not to end up in the back of the net too.Askarov went on an ADVENTURE
It’s fun for now. I’d rather not see it when we’re a playoff teamAskarov is wild I kinda love it
Also Celebrini is so much stronger than Smith at this point in their career. Seeing a barely 18 year old knock a couple of guys over is impressive.
If he doesn't play smarter, his size isn't going to help him. A big guy out of position and on his knees/back just has a longer way to go to make the saveAskarov is an adventure out there. Supremely athletic and massive, but some questionable fundamentals.
On the first goal, he was way off his angle and left way more open net than an NHL goalie typically does.
