That's what I meant. I don't think the return will be anything significant, we just shouldn't extend him regardless.

He’s good at skating the puck out and distributing the puck. I find him really useful for this current team.

No he's not. Constantly turns it over with risky passes up the middle. He's obviously better than the likes of Thompson and Rutta so he is useful in that sense.
