We have a number of people on this board who insist that Peter Laviolette is not the problem… Well, let me explain something to you when you give up a goal in the first two minutes of a hockey game routinely that’s on the head coach.
His team is unprepared he’s unprepared. You could see it in his face..

Every Rangers team for the last 50 f***ing years has given up early goals. And 1st career goals. And goals while the public address announcer is speaking.

Laviolette is the same as everyone else.

STOP firing coaches when the f***ing players are the f***ing problem. f***.

I dont care about Lavi one way or the other, but there's no excuse for players not getting themselves ready to go. These are professionals, they should act like it

The problem is bad defensive pinching, and PL’s trademark was activating the defense. Either change six players or change the system.

Bad pinch, no coverage, 2 on 1, no save by Igor
Bad pinch? Schneider was carrying the puck with Fil. The blame for that goal was on both Laf and Bread who had their heads in the clouds gliding in the neutral zone. How about backchecking. Miller played it right. Igor has the shooter. Not a very difficult save from there.
