I think they'd make it McNabb-Doughty and Forbort-Greene/Gilbert...presumably that time up top has helped Forbort grow immensely

I doubt it, at least initially. He will ease McNabb in thru the bottom (like Gaborik). DL needs to do something about his second pair. That first Toffoli penalty was a direct result of AMart whiffing on a clearing attempt. Second night in a row he's whiffed clearing passes at the game start. AMart has been great on offense but playing his offside is really hurting the team on defense. The irony in all this is the d men making the fewest passing blunders (by far) are Gravel and Forbort.

A-Mart/Muzzin are by far seeing the toughest match-up's nightly, and they have been the Kings most steady reliable pairing, nightly.


It makes sense to put A-Mart/Muzzin against the toughest assignments anyway. They are the Kings most experienced pairing.

Doughty has been so inconsistent, and he has a rookie on his side.

Gravel's pairing has had the easiest zone assignments/match-up's (makes sense).

A-Mart/Muzzin are going to make some mistakes, they are facing the toughest zone starts, and top players nightly.

And the PP is absolute garbage.

Seriously, this is as bad as I've seen since the late 90's teams and those teams sucked . 9-74 = 12.2 pct, with the talent this team has is mindblowing! Lumbus by comparision is 15-58=25.9 pct and Tampa is 21-88 =23.9 pct on the pp.

They need to stop putting Doughty on the PP, he is a possession killer on it.

They never will take him off it, but Doughty is one of the reasons the PP struggles badly.

Yes he does I have followed him for a while now Nice to see him writing there Not sure why jason isn't but have always like Sheng and think highly of his opinion of the ahl reign as well as nhl coverage
