Gotta get it together for the 3rd period if we don't want things to get all clenchy!

It was pretty obvious Maurice was feeling some raw emotions there during the ovation. Easy to see he wasn't a happy guy at the end here and with how it ended. Frankly, I think you could point to that situation as a perfect example of how NOT firing a coach when he's past his best before date is actually doing that coach a disservice. Forcing the guy to keep coming back when he's lost his mojo with that group is kind of cruel actually. Again, it makes me wonder about Chevy and ownership. Making tough decisions seems to be a problem...we've seen it with some players and with coaches. I'd even say it was sort of evident with Noel.
It honestly seemed to me that for most of the time he was here Paul Maurice really loved the team and city.

If he could make plays at the speed that he plays at he would have been a first round pick. He creates by being disruptive more than anything. The play to Gagner was nice, would have preferred it to go to Harkins.
Yeah, I like what he brings. No complaints for being on the 4th lilne, but get a body mechanics coach on him and see if you can elevate him to a 3rd line player. Do teams employ a body mechanics coach?
