Gotta get it together for the 3rd period if we don't want things to get all clenchy!

It was pretty obvious Maurice was feeling some raw emotions there during the ovation. Easy to see he wasn't a happy guy at the end here and with how it ended. Frankly, I think you could point to that situation as a perfect example of how NOT firing a coach when he's past his best before date is actually doing that coach a disservice. Forcing the guy to keep coming back when he's lost his mojo with that group is kind of cruel actually. Again, it makes me wonder about Chevy and ownership. Making tough decisions seems to be a problem...we've seen it with some players and with coaches. I'd even say it was sort of evident with Noel.

Is it just my or is AJF a little too akimbo in his movements? It's like his hands/shoulders are out of tune with his legs or half of his body is ahead/behind of his other half.
other than being fast & his hair idk what redeeming qualities he has

If he could make plays at the speed that he plays at he would have been a first round pick. He creates by being disruptive more than anything. The play to Gagner was nice, would have preferred it to go to Harkins.

I will forever stan Noel. The most legitimately funny sports coach I have heard. I do not think he was that great of a coach, but I really enjoyed having him as the coach of my team.

If we had competent goaltending, he would have even made the playoffs.

I have no issues with him on the 4th line. His speed created a 2-1 but his pass got blocked, then he teed up Gagner but he whiffed, earlier his speed almost created an odd man break with Scheifele but Scheifele went outside. He's a good penalty killer and doesn't give opponents time or space to get set. There's value in that.
