I hate power plays that are broken up by intermissions.

I wonder if it could be a sound strategy to take a penalty on purpose late in a period.
With game management and you know you're going to get the next one and it lines up with the end of a period, just take one to get it out of the way.

I'd prefer him on the 2nd but he seems to fit perfectly fine on the 1st. Since he's been on that line he's been creating chances non stop.
