why does gibson always seem good for the first 10ish games of the season, then just completely plummets in play.
That’s when he’s playing to be traded, then once he isn’t. He starts to fing bitch and complain

This is a big part of it.
We can blame Gibson but the bottom line is that we don't have many guys on our team who are able to make that shot consistently.
You can if he is giving up goals like that

I'm not happy with Gibson but we're also not winning shit only scoring a goal or two. Not pleased with almost all the vets
We scored 4 last game. And still lost.

Gibsons played a lot lately and hasn’t honestly been great over that period. Those performances from Dostal must’ve really been concerning for the coaches and Verbeek.
Too bad Stalock is hurt. Dostal could use a....oh wait, SD is shit to, a trip to SD wouldn't help haha

why not just send Dostal down to the ahl then? i know that means we'll need a back up, but im sure that couldn't be too hard to find.

Who would replace him, Clang? Stalock is injured and I don't see the owners letting them sign another back up

So the question is- are the ducks going to play the 2nd period or are we headed for another shellacking?

End of the day, you can't have your 6.4m goalie giving up a goal like he did at the beginning of the game. Horrible way to set the tone for the team from there on out.

You can give him a pass on the other two (though you'd like to see him make a big save or two), but that first one is peewee level bad.

Clearly they have a gameplan against him (high blocker) and got beat like that twice in the same period. He’s gotta find a way to prepare for that.

It seems like they struggle to score even when they do have possession of the puck. And when they do score, the skaters or the goalies just give the goal back in a matter of minutes. Why do they keep shooting themselves in the foot?
