Devils were the best second-period team in the league coming into tonight’s game. Blues played them even (on the scoreboard anyway) so that’s a win.

The first goal of the game was the second-quickest goal ever allowed by the Devils franchise. Ladd once scored for Winnipeg at 0:08. Think the Devils broadcasters said it was 2013.
