Tough one to figure, it's a revenge game, but I have a feeling CBJ might be a nemesis this year because they hustle and create lots of quality chances. Some of them also float and give up lots of quality chances. Tough to figure. Officiating will mean a lot, and for once, I like the crew. Of course, that means it will be a horribly officiated game.

Most recent set of back-to-backs saw van-Riemsdyk and Shattenkirk sit out one of the games.

Does the same happen this weekend? Does Beecher draw back in? I think I'd sit Poitras and tell him to use the next four days to recharge for the next stretch of games. Though if JvR is out, can't sit Poitras too, unless they go with 11 Forwards.

I’d put Beecher back in and sit Lauko

Wonder if Beecher comes back into the lineup. Still confused as to why he was healthy scratched yesterday.

yeah I`m not going in with those expectations, yes, payback would be amazing but the boys just went to OT against a fairly big rival, think we`ll see a bit of a snoozer today which I don`t care about if they put the 2 pts on the board

Did not see last night's game but thrilled to see Marchy end it.
Question: why did Marchy leave the ice immediately after celebrating his goal?
Generally he (like Bergy and Chara before him) would give everyone a " good game tap" then leave the ice last.
Marchy left with everyone else and as he was skating off he was holding his mouth.

Played in a rod hockey tourney last (3 sets of vintage 1968 Eagle sets) and I pulled off winning the championship.

This guy (Frank Bremsik) was a standout!!!

I noticed it looks like Marshy was crying when he left the ice. Had his hand over his face similar to after the 2019 Cup loss. Could be just overwhelming emotionally to break his scoreless streak in such a dramatic way.

Could be some off ice personal stuff we don't know about. I do believe the Lucic incident has effected this team more emotionally than is publicly visible. Marchand would've been closer to him than anyone else. We'll never know.

Quite true. Plus in this case it affects the players plus the wives.
Thank you for your thoughts.
