Interesting story from the past, Jets 1.0 in the early to mid 1990's.

I had a buddy that knew a girl here, she was about 21-22 at the time and was a "companion" of a very well known, very married Pittsburgh Penguins player. He paid for her university and her apartment here in Winnipeg. She was aware that he had other companions in other NHL cities and didn't seem too concerned about it.

I suspect this goes on much less today in an era where no one can hide from anyone, but back then...?

I go to LA alot and the bars and restaurants are usually full. One thing about the freeways is you have to press the gas pedal unlike here where most press their brake pedal more than the gas.

I especially like the outer fast lane slide to the next exit 300 yards out...

The perpatrator doing 100 plus mph down to a 70 to 60 to the exit cutting right across me and 4 other lanes...
