Interesting story from the past, Jets 1.0 in the early to mid 1990's.

I had a buddy that knew a girl here, she was about 21-22 at the time and was a "companion" of a very well known, very married Pittsburgh Penguins player. He paid for her university and her apartment here in Winnipeg. She was aware that he had other companions in other NHL cities and didn't seem too concerned about it.

I suspect this goes on much less today in an era where no one can hide from anyone, but back then...?

I suspect the sugar daddy thing is more common now cause it's easier to set up with soc media but probly not for athletes cause there under more attention.

LA nightlife is overstated, 99% of the local population stays home for board game nights or Zoom parties (so I’m told).
