Haha. Yeah, Lewis and King. If Lombardi trades these players, I think Sutter will go into depression.

Well, tonight one of them is going down to the bottom six. I'd be sad for losing either of them as well, but I want them in the depth, not the top of the chart like everybody else. Lewis should go down at least. King can at least park in front of the net. Gabo and Kopi need to reconnect tonight(they had amazing chemistry at the tourney until Gab's injury as well).

I generally agree with this but last night's game had a whole different feel. It was a very even game, we weren't getting wrecked like we were last year. In fact, if we didn't ring a bunch of posts and burns didn't bail Jones out on Lewis earlier in the game, we're not even having these conversations.

I'm still with you on organizational vengeance and DeBoer's preparation to whoop the Kings is > Sutter right now and that will have to be figured out for the playoffs--but why put all your cards on the table now anyway. We didn't look broken last night, just brainfarty while coming out of our injuries (Gaborik recovering, Kopitar not full steam, still no Quick, mcnabb, andreoff) while the Sharks aren't dealing with anything. It was a good, close game that could easily have gone either way which is more than I can say for most of our recent games with them.

actually hertl is out long-term which is a huge thing ...

It's time for Kopitar to start leading this teams offense on the p.p. At 5 on 5 he plays a great defensive game, so on the p.p is where he can take control, and be ultra aggressive offensively.
