Hunter didn't know the rules about who could take the penalty shot.
Should have been predetermined.
Inexcusable.

The Finnish commentators thought he was because he was the Captain for Team Canada.

Really unimpressed by most of team Canada. Glass and DiPietro were the only players who stood out to me.

Sucks to lose like that, especially the tying goal and exploding stick, but it's hard to complain too much when you only score one goal and miss on an OT penalty shot (WTF)

GG Canada
I guess they did the best they could but their best was never going to get it done this year, could tell for awhile.

Now, wonder who wins the Fin-Swiss game? toss up imo. The Finns will go in as the fave based on the fact they are Finland but in terms of on ice play this tournament? this game is a total toss up, I might even call a swiss win myself

I think you can assume what I meant.

But let me speak in excruciatingly simple terms since you seem to be struggling:

I didn't make any commentary about Dobson, his performance, or his standing as a prospect. I just pointed out that Pronman isn't good persuasive authority and isnt evidence of anything. If you are trying to disprove someone's claim, it is my opinion that using a Pronman tweet is as effective is writing "Dobson was good" on toilet paper. I like Dobson and thought he was fine so there's no need to get pissy with me.

Canada lost.

Hilarious watching Comtois get blame when he scored 5 goals, Bouchard and Hayton were pathetic.

...Actually, most are blaming Hunter for choosing Comtois.
Not Comtois's fault, I mean... He won't be telling his coach something like "Euh.... You sure? There's about 10 guys with better hands/shot than I on that team, including the guy on whom the infraction was committed!"

Well, some tough breaks for Canada but a close game. Would have liked to see Canada shoot the puck more instead of trying to make one play too many. Good luck to Finland.

poor poor Dipietro, only kid that really impressed me that whole tournament for Canada. Oh and Frost.

Oh well, maybe next year.

That’s the thing....this team was built to pound on lesser teams. All they did was attempt fancy passes in the attacking zone all game every game.

It works against the Denmark’s but when you play quality opponents this is what you see. Missed passes, whiffed one timers, and tons of giveaways.

We played three games against “top tier” teams this year including pre tournament and lost all three.

If not for DiPietro this team would have been abolsutly embarrassed this tournament.

Terrible coaching, terrible defence, and terrible forwards.

I think there are some good forwards there. Not elite like in the past but good enough to be the best in the tournament.

The defence is a big time joke though.

Canada didn't deserve to win. The offence was inexistent in the tough matches. I mean 2 goals total against Russia and Finland..Can't expect to win very many games. They only scored 5 goals in the last 3 games. Most of the players padded their stats against Denmark. Good Luck to Finland.

He had a 4 goal game in a 14-0 win... he was literally on the ice 24/7 and missing that empty net to seal the deal than fail a penalty shot fir the win... lets get real
